| Renter’s Requirements
– Primary renter/driver and additional drivers must
be at least 25 years of age, have a valid drivers’
license, and present a major credit card to secure the
Security/Damage Deposit. All additional drivers must be
listed on the Rental Agreement and provide copy of valid
license. We have the right to decline someone as a permitted
driver at our sole discretion.
Security/Damage Deposits - A minimum
REFUNDABLE Security/Damage Deposit is required. This
refundable deposit is in addition to the rental cost.
The security deposit may be increased at our sole discretion.
Total deposit amount must be placed on a major credit
card, in the RENTER”S NAME ONLY, at the time of
reservation. We prefer Visa or MasterCard. Check cards,
checks or cash are not accepted on deposits. Deposits
are refundable within 15 business days after the conclusion
of the rental, minus deductions applicable to damage,
excess generator usage, etc. Refunds are returned in
the form of a check. Any and all damages will be paid
up to $1000 before the insurance is contacted.
Cancellation Policy - The security
deposit secures your specific reservation. If you cancel
30 days or more before your departure date, we will
refund the deposit less a $50 processing fee. If you
cancel inside 30 days but more than 14 days of the departure
date, we will apply your deposit to a future rental
within the calendar year. If you cancel within 14 days
of your departure date, you will lose your deposit.
On special event and holiday weekends, deposits are
non-refundable if cancelled inside 30 days of the departure
date.
Substitutions - Every effort is made
to provide the vehicle requested. We reserve the right
to substitute similar or a higher-grade vehicle if necessary.
If a vehicle of lower grade is offered and accepted,
our liability is only the price difference between the
two vehicles. RV Rentals of Georgia is not responsible
for consequential damages.
Mileage- RV Rentals of Georgia includes
100 miles per day free with your rental.
0-100 Average miles per day FREE 101-200 Average miles
per day $.32 per mile
201-300 Average miles per day $.39 per mile 300+ Average
miles per day $.69 per mile
Generator - All motorhomes are equipped
with generators. They are not necessary for normal vehicle
operation. If the customer chooses to use the generator,
extra charges apply. There are no refunds on unused
prepaid hours.
Prepay $2.50 Return $3.00
Vehicle Return - All units are to
be returned by 11am on the last day of the contract.
Unauthorized extensions will be charged at twice the
vehicle’s posted daily rate. There are no refunds
or credits on early returns. It will be $50 per hour
up to 4 p.m. and after that you will be charged for
an additional day.
Holding Tanks- Please return with
the holding tanks empty. If you are not able to empty
the holding tank there is a $50 charge. Do not place
or use anything but RV toilet paper in the toilet. Use
a trash receptacle to dispose of all other waste.
Cleaning Fees- The unit should be
clean inside. If the unit is excessively dirty on the
outside then you are responsible for washing it. If
it is not clean, then you will be charged a cleaning
fee of $79 for Class C units/Travel Trailers or $99
for Class A units. Additional charges will apply for
excessively dirty/damaged carpet, dirty/damaged furniture
pets, and smoking.
Roof Access - Access to any vehicle
roof is NOT PERMITTED with the exception of our Airstream
SkyDeck. Renter is responsible for all roof damage.
All agreements will be void if determined that damages
or injuries, including death, occurred while on the
roof and all costs associated will be the sole liability
of the renter. There will be a minimum fine of $250
if renter accesses the roof for non-maintenance reasons.
Awnings- Please be very careful when
using the awnings. Damage to the awnings will result
in loss of deposit and possibly additional charges.
Awnings are not covered by insurance.
Smoking – Smoking is NOT PERMITTED
in any unit. Failure to comply will result in automatic
forfeiture of entire deposit plus all related cleaning
charges and odor removal if determined that smoking
has occurred either by the renter or someone associated
with the renter. This includes cigarette smoke, smoke
from a campfire, or any other type of odor that is excessive.
Pets – We recommend NOT bringing
pets on an RV trip. Due to complications some may have
with pet allergies, typically pets are not allowed.
Final decision is at our sole discretion. Customers
are responsible for any/all pet damage to the vehicles
as well as the additional cleaning required for any
vehicle having an animal in it. If a pet is allowed,
an additional pet deposit of $200.00 ($100.00 of which
is NON-REFUNDABLE) will need to be issued on a major
credit card. Deposit will be refunded in accordance
with our refund policy.
Maintenance Requirements - The customer
is required to maintain fluid levels in both the engine
and the power generator. To report any service requirement
to our Customer Service Department, a number will be
provided at departure. Customers are responsible for
all damages due to negligence. Check all fluids every
time you stop for gas. Generators fluids should be checked
on a daily basis.
24-hour Roadside Assistance - Hassle-free
24 hour service is offered for your convenience.
Accidents - All accidents must be
immediately reported to proper authorities and to RV
Rentals of Georgia. Failure to do so will void any signed
agreements.
Restricted Areas - Vehicles are restricted
from use in Death Valley and similar desert areas during
hot periods and in Manhattan, NY at anytime. Vehicles
are not allowed in Mexico or Canada. We would like to
keep our fleet within the Southeastern U.S. We reserve
the right to decline the rental of our units based on
place of destination.
