How do I get insurance
for the vehicle?
We prefer you us our insurance. It is very
easy to do. The renter must pay a premium to MBA in
order to be added to the dealers’ rental insurance
policy. The renter must go to the MBA website (www.MBAchoice.com)
and complete the required fields. Confirmation will
be immediately emailed to the renter and the rental
dealer. Alternatively the renter may fax the Addendum
to MBA, MBA will fax back to the dealer the Proof of
Coverage when the credit card has been successfully
processed. The insurance costs $20 per day that you
are operating the vehicle. An additional $20 service
fee will be added to the rental charge. Further instructions
will be provided for you if you are interested in using
this insurance.
If insurance is not purchased through MBA, then the
renter MUST provide a binder or an endorsement from
their personal auto insurance carrier; the binder listing
you and the rented vehicle as additionally insured.
In this case each driver must bring in a binder. MBA’s
insurance coverage becomes secondary to the rent’s
coverage. But most importantly, all of your original
coverage remains in tact in the event of a problem. This
binder should name RV Rentals of Georgia as an additional
insured and loss payee.
The binder should also provide comprehensive and collision
for the vehicle value. A CERTIFICATE or copy of a DECLARATIONS
PAGE, or insurance CARD is NOT sufficient. Any and
all damages will be paid up to $1000 before the insurance
is contacted.
